Some stated 4-10 days, others mentioned 8-12 days. However, in general the incubation time for DHF is around 4-7 days. Prevention of Dengue Fever
When starting many people around your residence or office are affected by DHF, then you need to be vigilant. To reduce the risk of getting DHF, take the following steps to prevent DHF:- Use anti-mosquito lotion to prevent mosquito bites.
- Spray insect repellent in the bedroom and other rooms at home in the morning and evening.
- Wear long-sleeved socks and trousers that are inserted into socks.
- Install mosquito netting to prevent mosquitoes from entering the house. Don't forget to close doors and windows when outside the home.
- Use mosquito nets around the bed.
- Ask local health workers to smoke or fogging.
